Cibus Leadership to Present at High-Profile Industry Conferences in the Coming Year
San Diego (April 18, 2017) Cibus, a biotechnology company committed to bringing progress to farm, food and industry, will discuss its product pipeline and the future of food at several upcoming biotechnology conferences. Executives will participate in discussions about the latest tools revolutionizing plant breeding.

CRISPR AgBio (San Diego, California, April 18-19, 2017): Cibus is a program sponsor at the inaugural meeting dedicated to helping agricultural biotech and agrochemical companies leverage the power of CRISPR and advanced trait breeding technology to overcome productivity challenges, increase yield and pioneer Sustainable Agriculture in plant breeding. Greg Gocal, Chief Scientific Officer, will present “Precision Gene Editing in Agriculture” on Tuesday, April 18.
Broad Institute’s Genome Engineering 5.0 (Cambridge, Massachusetts, May 7-9, 2017): Each year, this peer-to-peer workshop highlights some of the most exciting recent advances in genome engineering technology and application. Dr. Gocal will speak at the biotechnology session on Tuesday, May 9 to discuss oligo directed mutagenesis and how Cibus is accelerating plant breeding.
4th Annual CRISPR Precision Gene Editing Congress (Boston, Massachusetts, February 26-28, 2018): Cibus will sponsor the Congress in Boston, which will unite large pharma, biotech, leading academia and technology providers. Attendees and presenters will discuss how to optimize the adoption of CRISPR gene editing in human health and plant breeding programs.
